Quality

At Pine Medical Center, we don't just talk about top quality health care. Every day we strive to improve – and independent surveys show that we're doing just that.

We take our commitment to excellence seriously. Each staff member is required to sign and adhere to our Pledge of Excellence.

Pine Medical Center has received a Level IV Trauma designation from the Minnesota Department of Health's Statewide Trauma System. We're one of only a few hopsitals in the area to have this important designation. We had to demonstrate that our emergency department had certain equipment and that our physicians and staff met necessary education requirements.

We've also earned a Patient Safety Excellence Award from the Minnesota Hospital Association for our work in preventing patient falls during hospital stays.

Every year we survey our patients and long-term care residents to see how we're doing. We invite you to check out our survey results.

The state of Minnesota has noted improvements in our Health Care Center. State inspectors found no deficiencies in their most recent visit. You can also see our survey on the Minnesota State Board of Health's Website.

If you have questions or concerns about long-term care, contact the Minnesota Office of Ombudsman for Long-Term Care and its regional representatives.
