Financial Arrangements
We will verify the benefits information you gave us during your admission or pre-admission telephone call regarding your medical insurance, Medicare or other medical coverage so we can provide insurance claims and follow-up.
After medical insurance has paid, or if you have no insurance, the balance becomes classified as "self pay." We have several options for financing the balance.
If you process your own claims, you must pay your account in full 30 days from your discharge date.
If you are an uninsured or underinsured Minnesota resident you might qualify for a discount.
We offer the SMDC Community Care Program to persons who are underinsured and not able to pay for their hospital services.
