Volunteering
We love volunteers. We have about 100 community members who give their time to enrich the lives of Pine Medical Health Care Center residents by helping them shop, read, bake and do many other things. If you have a talent, we can use it.
Our Friends and Family Council helps raise money for the Health Care Center and can use volunteers.
The Pine Medical Center Auxiliary raises money for big-ticket items not in the hospital or Health Care Center's budget through activities such as luminaria and book-and-bake sales. The group helped furnish the hospice room and the nearby family room in the Health Care Center.
We are looking for volunteers to:
- Write letters
- Be a friend to a resident
- Read the Bible and devotionals to residents
- Help residents go shopping
- Lead crafts
- Lead bingo

- Lead current events discussions
- Help residents cook and bake
- Help residents garden
- Help residents with Wii
