Ambulance Service

When you need medical help fast, Pine Medical Ambulance Service will get you to an Emergency Room quickly.

Because the service covers a large territory, we have three stations staffed with emergency medical technicians 24 hours a day and seven days a week. We have two ambulances in Sandstone, one in Hinckley and two in Pine City.

With a 1,200-square-mile service area, the average response time for our ambulances is just 11 minutes.

We operate as an ambulance service for Pine County and the county sheriff's office dispatches our runs.

Since Pine Medical Center began operating the ambulances, we have moved from a volunteer service to one with more than 45 full- and part-time employees, including EMTs and paramedics. Our hospital has also earned a Level IV trauma designation from the Minnesota Department of Health's Statewide Trauma System.
