Rehabilitation Services

Our hospital helps patients recover from acute illnesses, but it also offers extensive rehabilitation services to help them return to normal functioning after a serious injury or illness. Instead of driving long distances to out-of-town medical centers, patients who live in our community can stay close to home, family, friends and their support systems while continuing to recover – even if they were hospitalized elsewhere.

At Pine Medical Center, we have inpatient beds for those who need them during their rehabilitation and we offer outpatient services for those who can be at home.

We offer four types of rehabilitation for our adult patients at two sites: Occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy and cardiac rehabilitation.

For children, we offer inpatient and outpatient physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy, using a collaborative approach that includes physicians and parents.
